Our thriving Nursery is a place where your children can enjoy high quality learning experiences in a safe and warm environment, supported by our highly trained Nursery staff. The school Nursery is available to any child the day after their 3rd birthday. Places may not immediately qualify for Government funding, we can advise on this upon enquiry. Make applications for Nursery places to the Headteacher as soon as possible before the child is eligible to start in the Nursery. Parents/carers are notified in the term prior to the planned starting date explaining if their application has been successful.

The children enjoy all aspects of the Early Years curriculum in an informal environment which includes both indoor and outdoor activities. Muddy Mondays are our own version of ‘Forest School’ and your child will explore the great outdoors with educational, practical and social activities planned by us and led by them. We will learn songs and games, phonemes and numbers, words and stories as well as skills such as sharing, speaking and listening, cooking and painting, mark making and most of all a love of books. Please arrange to come and visit us to see for yourself our lovely provision and meet the adults who will work with, care for and nurture your child until they are ready for school.

Nursery session and chargeable extras information

• A morning session is normally 9-12noon and an afternoon session from 12-3pm.

• For each morning or afternoon session, you will be charged 25p for snacks.

• If your child attends the 12-1pm session, they can have a cooked school meal, these cost £3.25 per day. Or, you can send them in with a packed lunch.

• Our wrap around care, EBNOC, runs from 7.30am every morning and until 6.15pm Mon-Thu.

• If your child attends the morning EBNOC session, breakfast is available at a cost of 50p.
